BLACKPOOL have smashed their transfer record to sign Rangers star Charlie Adam. The Scottish international has agreed a two-year-deal with the option of a third for a fee of £500,000.
A NIGHT of fun turned to terror at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. More than 30 people were injured in a horror crash on the attraction's Big Dipper ride last night. Paramedics took 21 people to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, while other "walking wounded" were treated by ambulance staff at the scene. Seven are still in hospital today.
