Swimming Georgina in top ten BLACKPOOL schoolgirl Georgina Higson is ranked among the country’s top 10 freestyle swimmers. The 14-year-old Arnold School pupil entered three events at the National Swimming Finals at the Manchester Aquatics Centre. In her main event, the 100m freestyle, Georgina swam a superb new personal best of 1min, 05secs to be ranked ninth-fastest junior girl in England.
