Netball Sophie’s shut-out King Edward and Queen Mary School Under-16s netball team were 28-6 winners over Palatine. The return of shooter Gabby Worrall and defender Katie Holder helped them back to winning ways. However, it was the excellent defending of Lytham’s Sophie Owen that thwarted the Palatine shooters and won her the player of the match award.
