Wis kids!
TWO Arnold School cricketers have their names in lights in the sport’s ‘bible’ Wisden.
Last year’s first XI captain James Cain was ranked 34th in the top school batsmen in the UK, having scored 445 at an average of 63.57.
Team-mate Sam Cole was second in the bowling averages with 4.50.
Fellow pupil Tom Hessey (above) played for Lancashire Under-14s and averaged over 45 during the school season with a total of 318.
Tom, who also plays for South Shore, was also the leading wicket-taker with 23 at an average of nine.
